70s Champion®︎ Bluebar PRINCETON TIGERS

70sバータグ期のプリンストン大学のTシャツXLです。

コレクターの多いヴィンテージチャンピオンの中でも、CORNELL、BROWN、COLUMBIA、DARTMOUTH、HARVARD、PENNSYLVANIA、PRINCETON、YALEの8校で構成されるIVY LEAGUE柄は、ファンが多い人気の柄です。

1746年創立のプリンストン大学のチームマスコット”THE TIGER”は、1879年の卒業生たちが大学に寄贈したブロンズのライオンから、なぜかトラにマスコットとして取り入れ、オレンジとブラックのスクールカラーは1867年、プリンストン対イェール大学の野球の試合で、プリンストン野球部員が、初めてオレンジに黒字のリボンをつけたといわれています。

そんな秘話があるのも名門ならではのことで、こちらのTシャツもそんなトリビアが盛り込まれています。
片面プリントでも十分にカッコ可愛いのですが、バックにちゃんと反転された後ろ姿がプリントされているのも、プリンストン物らしい遊び心溢れる一枚です。

状態は、ところどころに若干のシミがございますが、大きなダメージなどなく、清潔に着られる状態です。
色の褪せたデニムに映えるのヴィンテージな発色のオレンジのTシャツをお探しの方には申し分のない逸品です。
